How the Career Matching Works
Your responses create a unique fulfillment profile — a 10-dimension vector that represents what energizes you. We then compare your profile against 25 researched career roles using cosine similarity, the same algorithm used in recommendation engines. The result is a ranked list of careers ordered by how well they align with your specific drivers, not generic personality categories.
Each matched career includes an AI impact analysis showing which tasks are resistant to automation, which are augmented by AI tools, and which are vulnerable to replacement. This gives you a realistic picture of both fulfillment fit and future-proofness.
Who Is This Career Quiz For?
- Career changers — exploring what career path fits who you are now, not who you were when you picked your first job
- Mid-career professionals — feeling restless or unfulfilled and wondering what's missing
- Students — making informed decisions about career paths before investing in education
- Anyone worried about AI — wanting to find careers that are both personally fulfilling and resilient to automation
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the career assessment take?
About 5 minutes. There are 30 statements grouped into three sections, and you rate each on a five-point scale from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The quiz is completely free with no account required. Your results are calculated in your browser and can be shared via a URL. Optionally, you can leave your email to receive a more detailed report when available.
How is this different from a personality test?
Personality tests categorize you into types (introvert, extrovert, INFJ, etc.). This assessment measures what specifically energizes you at work across 10 dimensions, then matches you to real career roles using data-driven similarity scoring. It also includes AI impact data that personality tests don't offer.
What does the AI impact data mean?
Each career match shows three zones: Resistant (tasks AI can't do well), Augmented (tasks where humans + AI are better together), and Vulnerable (tasks AI is becoming sufficient at). This helps you evaluate not just fit, but long-term viability.
